- URBAN LAND (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976, came into effect from 17.02.1976 in Andhra Pradesh in Urban Agglomerations.
- Urban Ceiling Act repealed by Government of India by Urban land (Ceiling & Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999 & came in to force in Andhra Pradesh from 27.03.2008.
- After repeal of the Act, the Govt. of AP , has issued certain orders for allotment of Surplus Lands to 3rd party occupants/ declarants.
